Children’s Contact Service
South West Psychology and Consultancy is expanding and diversifying, beginning with the opening of Connection WA a Children’s Contact Service. (CCS)
This will be based at the Zoe Street practice.
It is fee for service.
CCS ’s aim to minimise a child’s exposure to conflictual or unsafe situations. They provide a safe, neutral and child focused service for supervised visits and changeovers to occur between children and their parents and other significant persons in the child’s life.
The emotional and physical safety of all involved in the process of using a CCS is of primary importance.
Connection WA is managed and staffed by highly qualified and experienced practitioners Psychologists, Social Workers, Teachers and Clinical Assessors. Everyone has WWCC’s, Federal Police Clearances and First Aid.
Connection WA is approved and a member of the Australian Children’s Contact Services Association.
Referrals will be welcomed through court appointments, personal referral and child protection. Each parent/caregiver involved will be assessed to determine their suitability for the service.
Handovers and Supervised Visits will occur Friday afternoons and Saturdays and Sunday’s. Handovers during the week will be considered case by case.
Payment is required prior to service. Court reports will be provided at the completion of the required number of visits.
